Evidence of research and planning into Costume, Make-up, Hair and Props
Props:
- Top hat (possibly need to buy)
- Toy car/train
- Thimble
- Dog (possibly)
- Wine
- Wine glasses
- Board game (Monopoly)
- Invoice
- Money
- Board game items
Costume:
- In terms of costume, we want our characters to be dressed casually as if they originated from a middle class background but also smartly, wearing items of clothing such as jeans, a shirt, and possibly clothes such as watches, cufflinks etc, however we don't want the characters to be too upper class as it would clash with our setting and main idea that all the friends are all meeting together to play a casual board game, something which I doubt many upper class citizens do often, as they're stereotypically busy doing other things like going out etc.
Make-up and Hair:
- For the female characters, the idea is that we want them to wear subtle make-up, nothing too over-the-top so that it looks natural and typical to the middle class genre.
- In terms of hair, we want our characters to just have their hair looking natural, nothing too special, but maybe perhaps subtle changes such as styling or straightening it to emphasise the fact that they've made a little effort when going out and meeting friends.
- Again, to make things look normal and stereotypical to the representation of the characters, we would want our characters to have normal coloured hair, with them not having any extreme colours such as bright blue or pink
