We have begun the editing process and already created a little sequence involving simple cuts to link the footage together. We have also listened to the sound and discovered that in places it is slightly muffled but there are several things we could do to improve that. We have also transferred the time lapses from Amy's iPhone onto the Mac, ready for editing and incorporating into our sequence.
Below is a couple of short clips showing our progress in our editing stages. It shows Amy experimenting with different footage clips and trimming them down to see whether or not the footage is up to what we want it to be. By having the multiple screens whilst editing, it allows us to watch the footage before deciding whether or not it is suitable for the final film or not. As well as this, the two coloured bars below indicate that the footage has been placed into the production (blue) as well as the sound (green). This is useful as it helps us know what is and what is not in the final production. As the editing stages move further, we will remove the sound from the film footage and replace it with the sound recorded sound which we recorded separately whilst filming.
This needs a lot of development to explain, illustrate and complete to level 4 standard. Audience feedback? Check all areas of the list on the deadline sheet in the booklet.
